2008년 11월, 정말로 가고 싶었던 PoC2008을 가게 되었다. 흥분 반, 기대 반으로 동아리 사람들과 함께 봉고에 올라 서울로 가는 날, 역시나 피곤하였다. 하지만 그 다음 날, 피곤함은 잊은 채, 외국에서 온 쟁쟁한 보안 관련 발표자들이 하는 발표에 빠져들 수 밖에 없었다. 사실 보안 관련 발표는 많이 들어보았다. 하지만 이렇게 많은 외국인의 발표자들의 발표는 내 평생 처음이었다. 되도록이면 영어로 들을려고 많이 노력했지만, 일본어, 중국어 등은 어쩔 수 없이 통역을 통해 이해할 수 밖에 없었다. 발표자들과의 많은 이야기는 나누지 못했지만, 내 평생 정말 소중한 경험이 되었다. 다음 PoC의 기회가 된다면 꼭 갈 수 있도록 하겠다.
